Double your sales (without hunting new leads)
Your warmest money is already sitting in your list
New leads are expensive. Old customers are free.
Everyone’s out here burning money on ads, reels, and cold outreach trying to find new eyeballs.
Meanwhile, they’re ignoring the people who’ve already shown up.
So let’s fix that today.
No new followers needed — just more cash from people who already like you enough to listen.
1. Sell More During The Purchase
The easiest upsell is the one that happens while someone’s wallet is open.
→ Think: “Want $1 fries with that?” — but for your business.
What works:
Add-ons: Complementary products/services.
Bundles: “Buy 2, get the third half off.”
Expedited delivery. Gift wrap. Premium version.
Limited-time bonus: “Add this now for 30% off, only at checkout.”
Why it works:
They’re in “yes mode.” The trust is fresh. Their credit card is literally in their hand.
2. Sell Again After The Purchase
Don’t be that founder who ghosts a paying customer.
A week or two after the sale, they’re primed for more — if you remind them.
What works:
Check-in email: “How’s it going with X? Here’s what most people get next…”
Replenishment: “Almost out? Here’s a restock discount.”
Next-level offer: “Ready to upgrade?” or “Want 1:1 support?”
Small surprise: Free resource or tip — build goodwill, then make an ask.
Why it works:
You keep the relationship warm and frame the next buy as logical, not pushy.
3. Wake Up the Sleeping Buyers
This is the gold mine that never gets mined:
People who bought once, loved it… then life got busy.
Your job? Tap them on the shoulder and give them a reason to come back.
What works:
“We miss you” campaigns — with a reward for returning.
New launch: “Here’s what’s changed since you last checked in.”
VIP club: Early access or special perks for repeat buyers.
Honest ask: “You’ve bought before. What would you want us to create next?” (Free insight. Plus they’ll feel invested.)
Why it works:
People forget you. They don’t hate you — they’re just drowning in noise. A little nudge = extra revenue.
Here’s the big truth:
You don’t need more strangers.
You need more follow through with the people who already trust you.
Upselling isn’t slimy — it’s smart.
Done right, it’s service.
Because when someone loves what you’ve made? They want more.
Go look at your list right now:
Who’s buying this week? Add an upsell.
Who bought last month? Check in.
Who ghosted you months ago? Wake them up.
And if you’re in face-to-face sales, also train your whole sales team to work on upsales as much as on sales. It’s not obvious.
Do that before you boost another Instagram post.
